Jan Gunnarsson
I am an author, lecturer, nature photographer and musician who inspires people to welcome themselves, others and the natural world we are all part of. Drawing on my own experience and knowledge, I write and speak about community, hostship, and guestship with a big dollop of joy and passion.
My writing and speaking about community, hostship, and guestship began after 25 years as a leader in private and public organisations where I saw how community is a prerequisite for success. After 2,350 lectures in Sweden and internationally, 10 books and a number of TEDx talks, I am even more convinced of the power of community in all kinds of activities and contexts.
Among other things, I trained as a teacher of compassion at Stanford University and completed a longer programme in personal development at Harvard Business School, USA. Having lived in England and the US for several years, I write and speak English fluently.
